Exercises to Improve Posture:
- Shoulder blade squeeze – Sit up straight and squeeze your shoulder blades together. Hold for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times.
- Wall angels – Stand with your back against a wall, and slowly raise your arms above your head, keeping your elbows and wrists against the wall. Lower your arms and repeat 10 times.
- Chest stretches – Stand with your arms extended behind you and interlace your fingers. Lift your arms upward, stretching your chest. Hold for 10 seconds and repeat 5 times.
- Plank – Get into a push-up position, but instead of lowering yourself, hold the position for 30 seconds, keeping your back straight.
- Hip flexor stretch – Kneel on one knee, with your other foot in front of you. Lean forward, stretching your hip. Hold for 10 seconds and repeat on the other side.
